- Booktalks are taking place this week  a schedule has been made - the goal is to complete them all this week!


HISTORY
- A few sensory Journey presentations will be completed this week
- I have not received a summative history assignment from all students - you have had lots of time to complete this assignment - not very responsible
- The new assignment is an ignite talk for Black History month - this can be done in partners
using google slides (typically 15 slides 15 seconds each of explanation) - for the purpose of the assignment each student will complete 8 slides (talk for 15 seconds on each slide ( you can make notes on google docs)
- You should include information about their life as well as any contributions to Canada - your person may be living or have long passed on.

- All students (7T, 7/8P/8MUL/8MIZ) will have to write a short paragraph as a listening activity following one of the history sensory journey presentations. This will be evaluated as a literacy listening activity
