- THURSDAY SEPT 28th is our SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE (6:15pm-7:30pm)
- FRIDAY SEPT 29th is our TERRY FOX RUN
- THERE ARE STILL PARENTS THAT NEED TO FILL OUT THE PARENT CONTACT INFO SHEET FOR THEIR CHILD - IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THIS BE FILLED IN AS IT WILL BE OUR MAIN MEANS FOR COMMUNICATION
- WE WILL BE HOLDING STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS IN THE INTERMEDIATE DIVISION THIS YEAR- EACH CLASS WILL HAVE 2 REPRESENTATIVES - ANY STUDENTS INTERESTED IN THIS ROLE IS ASKED TO WRITE A PARAGRAPH FOR MONDAY STATING WHY THEY THINK THEY ARE BEST SUITED FOR THIS ROLE
I learned through our oral presentations that several students went to NYC this summer!
LANGUAGE
- French reading 20 mins
- Finish Qui suis-je oral presentations (will be completed tomorrow)
- We will be starting persuasive writing in French this week
HISTORY
Grade 8
- Group presentation - we will continue working on "la vie quotidienne dans les colonies britanniques" (daily life) - to be worked on and presented either Friday or Monday
- Try to think of a unique and fun way to present the information
Grade 7
- Group jigsaw activity/poster - we will continue working on this assignment - should be completed by the beginning of next week
